The new Hill Farms State Office Building, located at 4822 Madison Yards Way, Madison, is home to all divisions of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, including the Division of Motor Vehicles, State Patrol, Division of Transportation Investment Management, Division of Transportation System Development, Division of Business Management, as well as Human Resources.
Please note that the Madison West DMV Service Center is now located at 8417 Excelsior Drive, off the West Beltline.
Directions
Visitors access the parking ramp from Sheboygan Avenue. Visitors will pull a ticket on entry and pay at exit or at one of the pay-on-foot stations located on the first floor near the stairwell. Please note that payment is by credit card only. The visitor stalls are to the right when entering the garage from the Sheboygan Avenue entrance.

Hill Farms security and smoking policies
Security measures are in place at the Hill Farms State Office Building in Madison. A staffed Customer Service desk is featured in the lobby. Visitors to the building should observe these procedures:
- Visitors may enter the building from the main entrance (under the canopy) from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each weekday.
- Visitors seeking access to elevators or other secured areas of the building are required to register and show a photo ID at the desk. Visitors need to identify whom they are visiting, the meeting location and/or the nature of the visit. A visitor's pass will be provided that must be returned upon leaving.
- All visitors should allow extra time before appointments, bid deadlines or other business, for the registration procedures.
Visitors to Hill Farms should also note the smoking policy. State-owned and leased office buildings are smoke free. Smoking is permitted only in a designated area on the west end of the building. Smoking is prohibited in DOA parking buildings and/or structures. E-cigarettes are considered standard cigarettes and should be used only where smoking is permitted. Smokers should use the ash urns provided.
