Work to seal 65 structures in Dunn, Chippewa and Clark counties
Release date: May 23, 2023
To invest in Wisconsin's transportation system, Gov. Tony Evers has signed a $164,068 contract with prime contractor Fahrner Asphalt Sealers of Plover for a project sealing more than 60 bridge decks on WIS 29 in Dunn, Chippewa and Clark counties. Construction is scheduled to start Tuesday, May 30.
To extend the life of the structures, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation plans to seal cracks and the surfaces on the bridges.
During work, which will start in Clark County and proceed west, WIS 29 will remain open to traffic, but motorists will encounter lane closures. Construction is scheduled for completion in June.
