Bureau of Project Development Technical Committees

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has seven sections within its Bureau of Project Development. The Construction Standards Oversight and Local Program Section includes the Division Major Projects and Construction Oversight Unit and the Local Program and Construction Standards Unit, and the section chief co-chairs the Construction Contract Administration Workgroup (CCAW).

Construction Contract Administration Workgroup

Purpose — Evaluate and identify specific improvement opportunities for Part 1 (General Requirements & Covenants) of WisDOT’s Standard Specifications for Highway & Structure Construction. The desired outcome is to develop policies and procedures that provide for the most efficient and cost-effective administration of construction contracts.
