Traffic Engineering and Safety Technical Committees

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has two sections within its Bureau of Traffic Operations. The Traffic Engineering and Safety Section includes the Traffic Design Unit and the Traffic Analysis and Safety Unit. It also operates the Traffic Control Technical Committee (TC2).

Traffic Control Technical Committee

Purpose — Bring together the Wisconsin Signing, Pavement Marking and Work Zone communities to:

identify and resolve statewide construction issues;
identify and create improvements to the signing, pavement marking and work zone construction program;
share new technology, specifications and initiatives with industry and stakeholders.
