US 2, Wisconsin/Michigan border bridge, Iron County
Overview
The proposed project will overlay the deck on the US 2 bridge on the Wisconsin/Michigan border in Iron County. The approach slabs and guard rail on the Michigan side of the river will be replaced. Construction is proposed to begin at the US 2 and US 51 round about to east of the Montreal river.
Traffic Impacts
Construction would be staged to minimize impacts to traffic as much as possible. No detour is proposed and access to businesses and residences will also be maintained at all times.
