Location
WIS 13, North Street to Mound View Drive, village of Friendship, Adams County
Overview
This project will focus on extending the service life of the existing pavement. This will be accomplished by completing limited concrete joint repairs and removing the existing concrete pavement surface and installing a new asphalt driving surface. In addition, work will be completed on the existing curb ramps to bring them up to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. New pavement markings and beam guard within the project limits will be installed as needed.
Traffic Impacts
Single lane closures with temporary signals will be needed to complete the concrete joint repairs. No detours for vehicular traffic are anticipated at this time. During milling and paving operations, flagging operations will be used with minimal delays expected. During curb ramp construction, temporary sidewalk closures will be needed with pedestrian detours installed.
Real Estate
The project will require some real estate to construct the curb ramps to current standards. The real estate needed will be a combination of FEE and TLE.
