This page outlines the proposed schedule for the Oregon/Jackson Street Bridge Study and any potential improvement project construction. All schedules are subject to change.
Current (this year)
- WisDOT recently decided to move forward with Alternative M4, a high-level fixed bridge on a partially offset alignment, as our preferred alternative. A draft version of our environmental document is anticipated in Summer 2023.
Future (next year and beyond)
- 2024: Approval of environmental document
- 2025-27: Potential real estate acquisition (dependent on preferred alternative)
- 2028: Construction begins on selected alternative
