Overview
WisDOT is proposing to improve 4.4 miles of WIS 175 (Appleton Avenue) from WIS 181 (76th Street) to I- 41. Proposed improvements include:
- Roadway resurfacing
- Upgrading traffic signals
- Improving curb ramps
- Upgrading a digital message board
- Replacing guardrails

Traffic Impacts
One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open during construction; however, short-term closures in spot locations may be needed. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained along with Milwaukee County Transit service during construction.

Construction is scheduled for 2026.
