US 61/WIS 81 intersection, South of Lancaster - Grant County

Project overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve the existing intersection of US 61 and WIS 81. The existing intersection is a modified T-intersection with bypass lanes for 3 turning movements. The purpose of this project is to improve the intersection’s safety for users by constructing a single lane roundabout to simplify the turning movement and reduce the speed of all vehicles through the intersection.
