WIS 162 bridge over Dutch Creek, between Bangor and Coon Valley - La Crosse County
Project overview
The proposed improvements include:
- New concrete deck overlay
- Replacement of expansion joints
- Replacement of expansion bearings on abutments
- Concrete surface repair on abutments and piers
- Repair of concrete drip edge of deck
- Zone painting of girders at abutments
- Spot painting and overcoating remaining steel surfaces
- Update bridge rail post anchors in deck
- Paint/galvanize corroded surface on railing
- Add /refresh riprap on abutment slopes and repair erosion on slope and shoulders
Schedule
- 2024 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
The bridge will be closed, and traffic will be detoured on I-90, WIS 27, and WIS 33.
