WIS 188 (US 12 to WIS 60), Sauk City to Prairie Du Sac - Dane County

Project overview

The purpose of the project is to prevent pavement deterioration with the use of pavement preservation and to improve safety at the WIS 188 and Inama Road intersection.

Project work includes:

• Pavement resurfacing to WIS 188 from US 12 to WIS 60
• Intersection redesign between WIS 188 and Inama Road to improve safety
• A left and right turn lane will be added to WIS 188 at the intersection with Inama Road
• Two culverts will be replaced on WIS 188

Traffic impacts/detours

WIS 188 will remain open to traffic. Inama Road will be closed for intersection improvements.
