Project overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is developing preliminary plans for a resurfacing project on WIS 19. The 3.6-mile-long project is located in the Town of Westport and Village of Waunakee, from the Division Street intersection to River Road intersection. Exception to the project length at the WIS 113/County I roundabout, constructed in 2018.

Proposed improvements:

• Resurface existing pavement (mill and overlay)
• Construct offset left-turn lanes and traffic signal upgrades at the WIS 19 and Schumacher Road/Raemisch Road intersection
• Update curb ramps as needed to meet American with Disabilities (ADA) requirements
• Culvert pipe replacements
• Paint railing on WIS 19 bridge over Sixmile Creek
