WIS 27 (Northwest Ave to County C), from Seneca to north of Fairview - Crawford County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve pavement conditions on this 9 mile section of WIS 27. The current pavement is aged and deteriorated. The purpose of this project is to improve safety and ride quality for users. The pavement will be resurfaced to improve conditions.
Additional improvements include:
- Curb ramps in Mt. Sterling will be updated to meet American with Disability Act (ADA) standards
- Guardrail and culvert pipes will be replaced as needed throughout the project

- April 2021 - Virtual Public Involvement materials
- 2024 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
The road will remain open with a flagging operation.
