WIS 33 (La Valle to Sauk County Line) - Sauk County
Project overview
This WisDOT project will be a 3.5-inch mill and overlay, with guardrail replacement, address sub-standard lane tapers, and updated curb ramps within the village of LaValle.
Additional improvements include:
- Repave the existing asphalt shoulders throughout corridor to improve safety
- Add shoulder rumble strips to improve safety
- Add centerline rumble strips to improve safety
- Installation of gravel shoulders to match the final roadway elevation
- New pavement marking
- Repave the parking lots at the Wayside Park

Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 33 will remain open to through traffic during construction operations through the use of flagging operations.
