WIS 67 (WIS 60 to West Junction County S), Dodge County
Project overview
This project will address deteriorated pavement on WIS 67 from WIS 60, north approximately 7.1 miles to the west junction of County S, just north of Iron Ridge. This project will mill and remove 3-inches of asphaltic pavement and overlay with 4-inches of asphaltic pavement. Additional improvements will include:
- Railroad crossing just north of Iron Ridge to be evaluated by railroad for replacement
- Some existing culvert pipes will be replaced in-kind
- Widen paved shoulders from 3 feet to 5 feet and add rumble strips
- Installation of asphalt safety edge on the outside paved shoulders
- Installation of pavement marking
Schedule
- Public Information Meeting (PIM)
- Construction scheduled for summer 2028
- Advanceable to summer 2024 if funding becomes available
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 67 will be closed to through traffic during construction and detoured. Construction will take place during the day with some flagging for local traffic.
