Location: Northeast Wisconsin, Door County. Beginning at the ferry docks and County W, this route is comprised of various segments of County W and numerous town roads that hug the shoreline. There is also a route through the middle of Washington Island.

R-119 is located on Washington Island. Ferry service to the island is available year-round from Northport Pier on the northern most end of the Door County Coastal Byway. The south end of the route is punctuated with sand dunes, forests and the occasional view of the rocky shoreline of Lake Michigan. The limestone bluffs along Mountain Road are part of the Niagara Escarpment. Gently rolling Town Line and Airport roads pass by forests, lavender farms and vineyards. Jackson Harbor Road just past Main Road provides access to
Schoolhouse Beach, a very unique stone beach. Little Lake Road is heavily forested and provides access to People’s Park and the
Jacobsen Museum.
