Public input requested for WIS 11 and WIS 23/County P intersection project in Lafayette County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking a public input on improvements along WIS 11, at the WIS 23/County P intersection near Shullsburg, in Lafayette County. Construction is currently scheduled for 2026.

Materials detailing the WIS 11 intersection project are available to view on the project website at https://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/projects/by-region/sw/wis11-wis23/default.aspx.

The project will upgrade the current WIS 11 and WIS 23/County P intersection to a roundabout to improve safety and operations.

WIS 11 will remain open during construction with flagging operations. WIS 23 and County P will be closed at times during construction, a detour route for WIS 23 will be provided.

All persons interested in the project are encouraged to view the website and provide input by contacting project staff via email, postal mail, or phone. Your comments will assist WisDOT in developing a project that will serve the needs of the traveling public and community. Your input is welcome and appreciated throughout the design process.
