The Bureau of Aeronautics develops and maintains a large range of resources and publications for customers throughout the State of Wisconsin. These include guidance on topics such as airport security, building an airport or landing strip, and resources for airport managers. We do this by providing airport operations guidance through sample agreements, ordinances, and minimum standards along with information on how to build an airport or landing strip in the Wisconsin.
The bureau also provides airport facility location information in several formats as a service to internal and external customers. These include data for the air operations areas and airport reference points.
