Public input requested for WIS 16 pavement replacement, Watertown to Oconomowoc, in Jefferson County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking public input on improvements along WIS 16, from East Main Street in Watertown to Rock River Road in Oconomowoc, Jefferson County. Construction is currently scheduled for 2025.

A presentation and materials detailing the WIS 16 project are available to view on the project website at https://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/projects/by-region/sw/wis16-jeffersoncounty/default.aspx.

The project will replace the pavement along WIS 16 from East Main Street to Rock River Road. Additional improvements include installation of a roundabout at WIS 16 and East Main Street, and bridge deck surface repairs along the project corridor.

During construction WIS 16 will be closed and detoured utilizing WIS 26, I-94 and WIS 67.

Your comments will assist WisDOT in developing a project that will serve the needs of the traveling public and community. Your input is welcome and appreciated throughout the design process.
