The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss improvements for the resurfacing on WIS 23 from WIS 16 to Gulch Road in Wisconsin Dells, Columbia County.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., at Wisconsin Dells City Hall, 300 La Crosse Street, Wisconsin Dells. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
This project will resurface 2.8 miles of WIS 23 between WIS 16 and Gulch Road in Wisconsin Dells. The asphalt gutter and culverts will be replaced between Valley Drive and Gulch Road. WIS 23 will remain open to traffic during construction with flagging operations. Construction is anticipated for 2028.
