Release date: July 11, 2023
To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $452,618 contract to improve the US 14/61/WIS 35 intersection with Shelby Road in the City of La Crosse. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin July 17.
Pember Companies Inc. is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to install monotube traffic signals, realign left-turn lanes, and construct ADA accessible curb ramps.
During construction, US 14 will remain open with occasional lane closures.
Project completion is scheduled for early October 2023. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
