The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss the WIS 26 improvement project from Milligan Road to Doty Street in the town of Chester and City of Waupun, Dodge County.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at City of Waupun City Hall Council Chambers, 201 E Main Street, Waupun. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
The project will include resurfacing the pavement from Milligan Rd to Doty St, replacing guardrail at the WIS 26 Underpass, and updating curb ramps to meet ADA standards. Construction is scheduled for 2026. There will be a PowerPoint presentation to provide additional project details. A copy of the presentation will be posted on the project website after the conclusion of meeting at:
