Some of the pedestrian curb ramps on WIS 93 from East Hamilton Avenue to Deerfield Road, WIS 312 from Old Wells Road to Business 53 and US 12 from Truax Boulevard to Mayer Road aren't Americans With Disabilities Act compliant. To address this, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation plans to:

  • Update noncompliant curb ramps, including reducing ramp slopes and installing detectable warning fields where missing.

Construction is scheduled for 2026.

During construction, WIS 93, WIS 312 and US 12 will remain open to traffic, but motorists might encounter some side road and shoulder closures as work is completed. In addition, pedestrians will encounter sidewalk closures, detours and temporary crossings.
