The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss the intersection control evaluation process for the WIS 81 and WIS 213/McKinley Ave intersection project in Beloit, Rock County.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 25, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Beloit Historical Society, 845 Hackett Street, Beloit. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
The project will consist of reconstructing the intersection of WIS 81 and WIS 213/McKinley Avenue to improve intersection safety and operational quality. Construction is anticipated for 2027.
