The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss improvements on WIS 60 from US 12 in Sauk City to Eagle View Court in Prairie du Sac, Sauk County.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 6, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm., at Ruth Culver Community Library, 540 Water Street, Prairie du Sac. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
The WIS 60 improvements are approximately 2.3 miles in length and extend through Sauk City and Prairie du Sac. Project work will consist of removing and replacing the pavement between US 12 and Eagle View Court, replacing curb and gutter, signalization of the WIS 60 and Prairie Street intersection, utility work, sidewalk replacement, and updating curb ramps to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Construction is scheduled for 2027.
