Public meeting for US 14 in Rock County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss design and environmental aspects of proposed improvements on US 14 from County O to WIS 89 in the City of Janesville, Rock County.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Darian Town Hall, N2826 Foundry Road, Darian. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.

The proposed project would address pavement conditions along the corridor. Proposed improvements include roadway resurfacing, new pavement markings, wider paved shoulders through the majority of the corridor, intersection improvements at the US 14 intersections of south Tarrant road, south Avalon road and County C and M. Construction is scheduled for 2028.
