You may purchase a sample of the
current issue graphic design passenger auto license plate from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Division of Motor Vehicles. The plate contains the word 'Sample' in black letters.
The cost for a sample license plate is $10. A sample, but expired, validation sticker will be applied to the plate, if requested.
