WIS 13 (Porky Creek), town of Mayville - Clark County

The proposed project is located along WIS 13 in Clark County on the border with Marathon County. There are two sites crossing Porky Creek. One site is approximately 0.3 mile north of Holton/Pine Road, and the other site is approximately 300 feet north of Wuertzburg/Willow Road. Both are north of the city of Abbotsford in the town of Mayville.

Over​​view

Metal culvert pipes crossing Porky Creek have reached the end of their service lives. The WisDOT project will:

  • Replace the existing sets of culvert structures at each site with twin-cell concrete box culverts.
  • Grade each site.
  • Place new pavement on WIS 13 at the replacement sites.

Sche​​dule

Construction is currently scheduled for 2026.

Traffic Imp​​acts

During construction:

  • WIS 13 will remain open to traffic, but motorists can expect single-lane closures controlled by temporary traffic signals.
  • Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.
    • However, single driveways will be closed for short periods of time when milling or paving operations are in the vicinity.
    • When multiple driveways serve a single property, construction will be staged, so at least one driveway remains open.
