WIS 106 (1st Street to WIS 59), Palmyra - Jefferson County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve this 0.34 mile section of WIS 106 in Palmyra by resurfacing the existing asphalt pavement. Treatment is needed to extend the pavement service life.
Additional improvements include:
- Upgrading curb ramps as needed to meet ADA requirements

Schedule
- Construction scheduled for 2026, with potential advancement to 2025
Traffic impacts/detours
Traffic control will likely be done through the use of a flagging operation but need for a detour is still being evaluated by the design team.
- Access to all properties within the project limits will be maintained during construction.
