WIS 171 (US 61 to US 14), Rolling Ground to Boaz - Richland and Crawford Counties
Project overview
The project on WIS 171 will consist of a 2-Inch asphalt overlay on the existing pavement at the current width. Guard rail will be replaced where needed to meet current standards. Bridge rehabilitation work will be constructed on four bridges.

- January 2022 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2027 - Construction anticipated, advanceable to 2024 depending on funding availability.
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 171 is anticipated to remain open to traffic during construction. The project will be constructed under flagging operations.
During construction activities at the bridge located .14 miles southwest of WIS 171 and Skyline Road intersection, one lane will be closed to traffic. The remaining one lane will be open to traffic and controlled with a temporary stop sign. Bridge rehabilitation work is expected to be completed in approximately one month.
