WIS 60 (WIS 67 to Washington County Line), Town of Rubicon – Dodge County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve this 4.96 mile section of WIS 60 between Lowell and Hartford by replacing the existing asphalt pavement. This treatment is needed to extend the pavement service life.
Additional Improvements include:
- Replacing several cross culverts
- Adding centerline and shoulder rumble strips
- Replacing pavement marking
Schedule
- April 2022 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2028 - Construction anticipated with the potential advancement to 2025<
Traffic impacts/detours
Traffic will be detoured during construction. The proposed detour route will utilize WIS 67, WIS 33, and I-41. Access will be maintained during construction for residents and local businesses to the greatest extent possible.
