WIS 78 (North Junction County H to County E), Argyle to Mt Horeb, Dane County

Project over​view

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is developing preliminary plans for a resurfacing project on WIS 78. The 11.14-mile long project begins at County H and heads north to County E.

Proposed improvements:

  • Resurface existing pavement (mill and overlay)
  • Update curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements
  • Replace guardrail and install energy absorbing terminals (EATs)
