WIS 89 (Clarkson Road to Avalon Road), Waterloo to Columbus - Columbia, Dane, and Dodge counties
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to resurface 9.8 miles of WIS 89 between Waterloo and Columbus. The project will mill and overlay the asphalt pavement and repair or replace several culvert pipes. This project also includes replacement of the box culvert over Mud Creek and reconstruction of the intersection with County TV which will require the acquisition of right-of-way for construction.

Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 89 will be closed and detoured for work on the Mud Creek box culvert and for the reconstruction of the WIS 89/County TV intersection. The detour route will include WIS 19 to WIS 73. Additional lane closures will be handled with flagging operations.
