R-115 has trees and dense foliage along it that creates a canopy overhead at the northern end of the route. It is interspersed with views of marshland, lakes, and prairies. Travelers may see wild turkeys, deer, herons, hawks and owls. This segment of Waterville Road also provides access to the Lake Country and Glacial Drumlin trails. R-115 connects R-10 and R-86 into a continuous route.
