Entry civil/structural engineer positions:
Work under excellent mentorship to learn what it takes to deliver impactful infrastructure projects and gain the experience necessary to become a licensed professional engineer. Many applicants are new graduates or have up to three years of professional level engineering experience.

- Starting pay is $61,360 per year
- Regular salary progression increases at 12, 18, 24, 30, 36 months ($72,384 at 36 months)
- Ability to progress to the senior level with salary increases
Senior civil and structural engineer positions:
Make independent decisions regarding transportation projects and function as a program or project leader on a transportation project. Applicants must possess at least four years of professional engineering experience. Starting pay, depending on qualifications:
- Senior civil engineers – $79,269-$97,448
- Senior structural engineers – $81,203-$99,424
Advanced civil and structural engineer positions:
Provide technical engineering expertise in their assigned program area or act as project managers. Applicants are required to possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license upon application. Starting pay, depending on qualifications:
- Advanced civil engineers – $88,296-106,808
- Advanced structural engineers – $94,494-$106,808
Supervisor civil and structural engineer positions:
Provide oversight and management to engineering staff who are responsible for the planning, design, development, construction, operations and maintenance of transportation facilities. Starting pay, depending on qualifications:
- Civil engineer supervisors – $105,393-$116,147
- Structural engineer supervisors – $105,393-$116,147
