US 12/Wittig Road intersection, Tomah - Monroe County
Project overview
The purpose of this project is to improve intersection safety. The US 12/ Wittig Road intersection has a high crash rate. The preferred alternative will install traffic signals and offset turn lanes to improve sight distance.

Traffic impacts/detours
US 12 will remain open to traffics during constriction. The project will be constructed by utilizing alternating inside/outside lane closures. The median will be closed for one stage of construction, restricting Buan Street and Wittig Road to right in - right out access only for that stage.
