WIS 92 (Alaska Avenue to Stonefield Way), Mount Horeb - Dane County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is developing plans to improve a 0.92-mile section of WIS 92 in the village of Mount Horeb to the address aging and deteriorated pavement.
The proposed improvements include removing the existing pavement from Alaska Avenue to Stonefield Way and replacing it with new asphalt pavement. In addition to the pavement replacement, the existing curb ramps will be updated to meet the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 92 will be closed to traffic with a detour during construction.
- The anticipated detour route is WIS 69 to US-18/151 to WIS 78.
Access for properties along WIS 92 will be maintained at all times during construction.
